(More customer reviews)I got this for my 02 VW Passat GLS sedan.It was plug and play.No wire splicing or adapters at all.The factory wiring harness/antenna pluged straight into it.I was amazed!Mounting the unit was a little less simple.The metal sleeve around the unit was too big for my dash slot.The radio without the sleeve fits snug (with a dime wedged in there to keep it extra tight).It sounds really good, even on my factory speakers.The bluetooth works well, you can hear and be heard almost as well as if you were holding the phone.I like the way it looks in the dash as well.No flashy lights, just a cool looking radio with a b&w display that tells you everything you need to know.
If you use Windows Media Player to burn your mp3 cds and/or organize your USB thumb drive it makes navigating the music easier.You can skip through whole albums instead of one song at a time.
