(More customer reviews)These are good quality speakers and I have had many in the past. I like the decent bass and the highs sound good. They are good quality speakers and I would recommend them to anyone. I have an aftermarket CD player (JVC 180 Watt) and they sound good. I can turn them excessively loud and there is no distortion.

The woofer cones are backed by a ferrite magnet, and are constructed of Sony exclusive Highly Oriented Polyolefine (HOP), which delivers greater linearity and smoother response.
Midrange/Tweeters
HDLD (High Density Layered Diaphragm) midrange drivers provide solid performance and accurate sound, and the polyetherimide (PEI) dome tweeters with neodymium magnets take care of the high-end details.
In-line crossovers ensure each speaker gets the right frequencies, for maximum detail and efficiency.
